Local Racing Seat Dealers
Well my leather is getting pretty worn, and I never use the butt-warmers in my stock seats anyways, so Im thinking of going aftermarket.
Ive found a few types that I find very visually appealing, but I need to sit-test them prior to buying. Last thing I want to do is swap seats to discover that Ive rendered my car into a mobile torture rack, especially since its my DD.
Anyways, I was wondering if any of the local shops stock a variety of racing seats to butt-test. I'll buy from the shop (It'd be shitty not to) even if I have to pay a little more than what the internet retailers want.
Right now Im looking at the Sparco Fighter II, Corbeau Forza II, and Tenzo Rally type.

I've sat in the Corbeau Forza II, and I don't think daily driving sounds like fun in that seat. Maybe for short rides, but not long rides.
just my opinion

Im still in love with those Sparco Fighters, and I found some pretty good prices on them, I just really need to sit in one first. Im kind of a big guy, so many of these seats don't fit me well.

any updated info on this? Im lookin for a seat to pick up locally. It's gonna be for a sim rig so hugability in the curves isnt a concern. just something that looks and feels the part for cheap. Any of the local shops around nowadays carry stock?

and FYI just because you put racing seats in your car doesn't make it a race car it just makes it an uncomfortable daily.
