People, look at the word...DAILY DRIVER. What do you think that means? That doesn't mean weekend toy, that doesn't mean track car, that means DAILY DRIVER.

Race gas? Not a DD.
Crazy rollcage? Nt a DD.
Spool? Not a DD.
Slicks & skinnies? Not a DD.
Gutted with no creature comforts? Not a DD.

Getting the idea, yet?

It runs on pump gas no problem, just turn the boost down to about 10lbs..

Roll cage, so ? I know of Miatas and 240's with cages that auto-x on the weekend and drive around all week in said form. Jerm wants one in his car for extra safety.

Spool ? So. Many cars in the 60-70 had them as a option. Wider radius turns, big deal.

Slicks & Skinny's ? Nope. Drag Radials and regular sized 15x5's on the front. No pizza cutters that break for me. Look at the sig pic..

Gutted ? Hardly. Power windows, locks, mirrors, factory lumbar seats (that work), and satellite radio as soon as I activate it.

Anything else Captain ?

I think the original poster was referring to someone with only bolt-on modifications or less. I know my car is far from the quickest in a straight line here, but she is a solo ii champ.

Yeah, that straight dump hanging off the side of your car.

I swear, thats something I never coule get over with you Mustang guys. Every one of you think your car is a "DD" even though its a damn track car and you know it.

By the way, what trans are you running? And what gear? And very importantly, EXACTLY what type of converter?

It says nothing of the sort. And why pigeon hole it like that ? It would eliminate a vast majority of the cars that are fast on here.

But I realize the definition of DD or street car has two billion definitions.

To me if you can safely and legally drive the car on the street I do not care it is has a rocket strapped to it or runs on plutonium.

You cannot legally drive on the street because your exhaust is as far from legal as you can get.

Rephrase or concede.

And answer my previous post. What brand of slushbox do you have? I'm guessing a PA Super Comp or something, 8" converter?
