I've wanted to color match my Valve cover to the color of my engine bay but my buddy hasn't had any luck finding a powder coat color to match it. I've found duplicolor paint that matches it but it's not the heat resistant paint. I was thinking: do you think it would work out if I Primed it with heat resistant paint with a couple coats and then sprayed it with the duplicolor. I really wanna do this soon so please don't hesitate to gimme some feed back! Thanks in advance!

i've heard of a few people doing a high temp primer, low temp color, with a high temp clear coat

On another note what would you recomend me using to coat the header black?? Ya think the high temp duplicolor paint will hold??

Well matt this is a question me and u have been milling over for a lil while. I say it looks good. And it might look better with the cream color.

Id say get the header ceramic coated if you plan on staying NA. The ceramic coating will not only match your engine bay, but will keep temps at bay.
