Default boost gauge

on a 07 VW passat 2.0 turbo, is it possible to wire up a digital boost gauge to read out on the HUD screen display monitor thingy? has anything like that been done with any type of car before? i figure it might require programming the ecu somewhat.

well, is it a fully digital display, or is it like a gauge cluster projected, like, fixed displays, just projected onto the screen

not too sure. oh well, its not very important. my friend has the 07 passat and i told him if he was going to start doing stuff to it, he should get a boost gauge, and then we were discussing where he could put it without really tearing anything up. i thought having it in that monitor system screen thing would be pretty baller
