Just think for a second.. If "putting an intake" on your car would cause damage.. Why the hell would companies be selling them? What exactly do you mean "mess up"? No, installing an intake onto your car will not cause any damage to anything whatsoever. Well, unless you somehow don't install it properly. (if that's even possible )

Yea i dont see why it would seriously hurt your engine when intakes are one of the most basic performance mods that you can do to your car but yea +1 on what do u mean by "mess up"???

Bro, intakes give you shit for power. The best mod is to reroute your exhaust into the passenger cabin, then sit in the car and rev the engine till you run out of gas. It boosts your VTAK.

big time.

This is second place right behind bolting a turbo onto your intake manifold because it wont fit onto your DC Headers. How do some people manage to breathe?

So, why is it you feel your car is so amazingly superior to ours?

From what Ive seen, Id be surprised if you could tell me how an engine even works, and I severly doubt you could build any engine that could impress me, unless you did build an engine and it ran for more than 5 minutes, that would be impressive.

To answer your question for the 800th time,

If you have a short ram intake, it will do NO DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR.

If you have a cold air intake it will do NO DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR, unless you drive through a river.

If you have a snorkel intake, it will do NO DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR.

No intakes, if installed properly with proper filters will do ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR.
