what else?

Is there anyway to visually look at a relay to see if it is good or bad. I lost my ohm meter

The best way to check it is plug it back in then turn the key on. You should hear the relay clicking if it is working. I've heard that if you use an ohm meter wrong on a 4 prong relay, you can damage it.

the relay looks like it heated up and the glue in it was melted.. I hope this is what happened..

tap a 9volt battery across the coil and listen for the click. To check the contacts side you need either an ohm meter or a circuit tester with a power source.

An alternative check of the contacts side, is to put a bulb wired to a ground on one of the contacts, and a wire to the battery on the other contact.-Bob

I went ahead and bought a new relay.. I still can't figure out the problem.. None of my guages or anything light up or neither does my radio turn on like it used to.. I still can't get this thing started...

What else

What else should I check if my car won't start and I checked the battery. I checked the relays (the only ones I could find under the dash)..

The vehicle won't start.

I am thinking about push starting the car..
