you have 30 days to pay the ticket. then you get stuck with late payment fee and something else. I can't remember. I always throw mine inthe glove box and forget, so I always end up paying about 50-80 bucks more.
its usually 30 days, i pay it asap! but the last time, i guess the officer didnt turn his paperwork in cause i called to pay it over the phone and they didnt see it in records yet. but, i sent in a check anyway.. i never took a class and the insurance company didnt raise my ins. at all.
You typically have 30 days to pay the ticket. Then the price goes up and you're at risk of having a suspended license. That will then be extra money to get it reinstated.
As far as insurance it depends on the company you are with. Progressive runs a MVR I think annually but State Farm doesn't do an MVR unless you make a change to your policy. I don't know what the other companies do.

I work at state farm, and as far as I know we never run a random AUI. (Agents underwriting information) report on our clients. Which tells us of any violations or citations within the last 3 years. We usually just run an initial AUI when we are first starting the policy. That may be something corporate does, but in our office, we never do. Just a heads up.
i just got a ticket 77 n a 55, it was 210$ i took 150$ to a traffic lawer and got it dropped no points no insurance crap. and this was my 7th ticket n 2 years
