it doesnt matter what type of oil you use, its whether or not you plaster the oil brand's stickers all over the side of your car. Check out THOSE numbers on a dyno... lol

A mustang mag did a dyno comparison a while back and RP does give you a few more ponies. I used it in a brand new engine after it was broken in and beat the shit out of it till a piston let go. My engine builder was surprised at how good everything looked. The oil looked really bad to, he didn't even believe me that it was RP(Drove it pretty far with a bad misfire).

Oh yeah to your first statement. Thats completely foolish to think. So you are going to tell me using some napa brand crap is the same as mobile 1 or valvoline.

its expensive and can be hard to find...i dont believe in mixing oils, so if you are running a little low and need to add some, it may be a pain in the ass getting a hold of some unless you carry a quart in ur car...

For the record ive seen an oil make +18hp in a WinstonCup motor....Big difference (at 10k rpms)

And im sworn to secrecy at the moment, but in the near future youll see an oil pan design that will be worth AT LEAST 5% hp on any motor (Then go, Damn, why didnt I think of that)
