u dont see drag racing on tv as much due to how long it takes to edit the shit..there are alot of rd's and time that has to go by before alot of the drag cars can get another run in.

Ive cornered in some fast shit (Open wheel modifeds), but your still always in control. Drop the hammer in a big tire car, and you nuts almost fall out yor asshole. Really.

But his unto his own, this debate could transcend time itself.
true story...

never had the opportunity to drop the hammer on a big tire car, only my little 10.5 tire car but it still made me smile running the mid 8s in a stock susp setup.

I prefer circuit and road course type of races, but I feel atleast one of the v8 models should have a solid rear.

it's easy to see that american car companies are unsure what kind of rears to put in their cars, it's hard to please everyone.

take the mustang cobra. 94-98 had solid rears, i'm sure a lot of people loved it, yet a lot of people thought the top of the line car should have irs. 99-04 had independant rears, a lot like it, and a lot of people considered it the biggest flaw.. 06? GT500's have solid rears again, and still mixed reviews.

I think ford could have done a better job designing the IRS, though you really cant hope for much since it was designed to fit into a solid rear car.
