no, it wasn't on jackstands. and the speedo is fairly accurate as far as i know. also, yes... i was just about to run out of gas.

i don't underestimate the sho, but i've only had the car for maybe 3 months and haven't really beaten on it till recently. this car really is a ton of fun to drive.

91 ranger, 88 tc 2.3 turbo, stroked, bored, 5.5" crower connecting rods, wiseco 8.0:1 dished pistons, total seal .030 rings, fully ported iron big valve head, racer walsh turbo roller cam, bobs log, holset wh1c, fmic, full 3" exhaust. not really a whole lot left to do.

ford taurus Super High Output. the newer ones have a small displacement v8, but the older ones like mine have a 3.0 (manual) or a 3.2 (auto) v6. mine is a 5 speed so it's a 3.0. they make 220hp. and 200tq. fun cars.

SHO's are slow . i walked one with my stock H22 sol.

maybe we can race rangers(at the track) after i get the v8 tucked in there.
