shop for muffler work

Default shop for muffler work

well ive had this flowmaster 80 series sittin in my garage for a few months now brand new in the box, so i figured its time to put it on. wheres a good place, but farely cheap, in new port richey area... the best price ive seen so far is 100. and thats with tail pipes that they need to include, cuz all i have is muffler. and its a dual outlet muffler... let me know.

your right, its not bad at all, but when i can go to my dads and maybe get it done for 30-40 bucks at MOST, its a rip. labor for a muffler shouldnt be another 70 dollars, if i wasnt too lazy i would just drive to my dads (bout a hour and half) and get it done.

vip, that glasspack was just on there becuz i got it as a gift and felt bad if i didnt put it on. but like most glasspacks, they rust out fast, so i knew it wouldnt be on forever, its time to get it off

You do know those 3.8Ls don't really like aftermarket exhausts much, seriously, though? My friend tried all sorts of exhausts on his, and just ended up going stock because it just sounds eh.

ya i understand, its hard to find a good sounding set up, its mainly that damn rasp at the end of high rpm that throws it off, other than that, idle, and low-mid rpms sounds nice. but ill try a few diff things and see how it goes i guess.
