Well, I've been working on the Cougar this morning and I pulled off the pinstripes, now I have no camera so I can't show an after picture only a before.

I'm curious to know TR's opinion on painting my grill black.
The wheels are black with a polished lip.
The paint on the trim around the windows is flaking which will be sanded and repainted black.

Basically, I'm going with a black-on-black theme.

Now, tell me, would painting the grill be to much...
Should I paint it black and leave the center Cougar emblem polished, have the whole thing black, or get the left over rubbing compound off and leave it alone?

Now, it may not look like it, but the front of the grill is polished, the sides are black.

 

where are the after pictures slacker?

 

Paint the car, leave the grill. Then have another look and decide on the grill.

go black and never go back...haha.
black it out, flat black, get some of those smoked headlight covers, drop it a couple of inches and then dark tint the windows. Give it the Mad Max treatment. That'd be cool.

 

I'm not going to paint the car, just going to wet sand, clay bar and wax it to return the paint to a condition it used to be in.
I really just want opinions on the grill lol
