Default single turbo setup on a v6?

i'm thinking about turboing my v6 but i've never seen a single turbo application on a v6. i can figure out the intake aspect of it but what about the exhaust manifolds? do i weld a flange onto one and leave the other alone or maybe put the turbo in the front and connect the manifolds to that or something idk. any advice is appreciated.

so you've never seen an 84-89 300zx turbo?

You typically use whats called a crossover pipe, and mount the turbo wherever is convenient.

surprisingly no i never saw the engine bay of one, only n/a's. i didn't even think about the z31 turbo's till i asked someone else about it and they mentioned it. i'll have to look into it. i heard a crossover pipe was inneficient and was told i should do a remote turbo setup like they make for the gto's and domestics where it's mounted towards the back of the car.

so mounting the turbo as far away as possible is somehow more efficient? The answer is no
