Looks pretty good.

I would add a stripe across the bottom to match
the top/bumpers. imho-Bob

gun metal is nice but im not into the metallic paints, me and a freind painted the car audi TT gray about four months ago. But now I'm bored and while the motor is getting re-built for boost I feel like throwing the car back in the booth and making it look a little more "custom"...

My other option is doing a partial wrap with full color 3m film, results would be the same and i could always remove it with little chance of ruining the new paint.

this is a guy that's on another forum i'm on. i've always liked his paint job. i know it's a different car, but you get the idea.

i agreee with a few others about painting the bumpers white. it will help the graphic "flow" a bit better on the car and be a bit more appealing.

how is this rice? just because he wants to do a paintjob that is not monochromatic or stock? does that make it rice? it looks good and will help it stand out in a crowd. be forewarned though, with a paintjob like that. if you get pulled over once, the cops know the car.

i'd go with it though

If you like the gray hues, those cars look REALLY good in gunmetal, in my opinion.

See Silva San's post for why.

That type of stuff is rice - doesn't matter if its a Ferrari Enzo, a Toyota Corolla, or a Chevrolet Corvette wearing it. Now look, I don't want to get into another big 'rice' debate on here, I just wanted to elaborate on my viewpoint to you.

honestly it's your car but imo it would look 10x better a single color or 2 tone with like a black roof and another color bottom. two tone like in your picture reminds me of hin.

IMO if your not going for a VW harlequin look changing paint colors on on different body panels (ie a bumper next to a fender) looks like you got the parts from a JY.

I agree that gunmetal looks the best on civic hatchbacks.my 97 hatch was a gunmetal color and I always got compliments about it.....till it got stolen

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to end up printing it High Res. on 3M control-tac with a high gloss laminate on the solvent printer at work, its the most cost effective way to do it and leaves the option of removing it in the future.
