buaght a car from a kid we had a day set to go up to transfer the title...he never put the title n his name but the guy he got it from signed it off.. so he was goin to hav to put it n his name then sign it over to me...well he ended up runin to nj from sum charges or sum shit...with the title of course...i ran the vin n its not stolen as far as the dmv noes of....is there a way i cud gt the original guys info from the dmv or something?...any 1 that has some conects and could pull sum strings...ill f'in pay u....im about to be forced to jus chop it n part it out....pm or reply...PLEASEEEE!!!

Option 1: Have the kid mail you the Title. Did the previous owner just sign his name? Is this 'kids' name on the title anywhere? or is it an open title?

Or...Option 2: Find the original owner (through DMV search). Contact previous owner, and have him complete this:

It's an application for a duplicate title with transfer.

Also, inform him that till the car gets re-titled in your name, anything that happens to the car, he is still liable (legally) for.

Option 3: sell the car, piece by piece.

The fact that the kid is running for the law, isn't such a positive thing in this situation.

 

Option 4- Spell right and use proper english.
