have you looked into a sealed beam conversion so that you can use a standard bulb? I have gotten the conversion for an 80 el camino and my 95 camaro, which has the small rectangular sealed beams.

Yup, if your lights are similar to that of a 93-97 Fbody with the sealed beams, you should do the conversion.

It involves purchasing the silverstar equivalent of the 9004 beams, and rtv silicone sealant. Unplug the sealed light, bring it to a nice work area, and remove the back plastic sealed part that contains the bulb. Clean off the leftover glue, and replace that part with the new bulb, using the silicone to seal it in place to a watertight finish. Leave it drying overnight. Remember not to touch the bulb with you bare fingers, wear latex gloves.

+1 ^^. Why don't people like white headlights anymore. Too efficent for them? Is color distortion while driving at night the latest bandwagon thing?
