I was in the tower editing video during the semis of super street. Blair and pappas were running, 1/8th mile blair is ahead by a lot, motor blows up, i expect to see him lift, he stays in it, smoke just BILLOWING off the back of the car, pappas beats him right at the line, pappas pops his shoot and it just falls off, looses control and smashes the wall, strangest thing ive seen.

reports say the cables were cut, not ripped, no idea what really happened.

so I was talking to Jim blair when he came for his payout, he said he had his incar camera on, so I went and snatched the tape

yep i've seen pics of the cable..an aluminum bracket is what cut the chutes they said..that is an old car and has been around for about 12 years..he runs on leaf springs with floaters still very crazy..and that thing make sick power for being 400ci bbc with a single turbo..

he has 2 more cars being built and the 69 is getting fixed right now..

blair melted a cylender on that run..only reason why he got back into it was because spiro was now where around him.
