headlight cleaner

LoL I was going to say something yesterday when I was looking at your car about how easily you can clean the headlights with some plastic polish. Everyone started talking about something else and I forgot to mention it.

yeah, they arent too bad so i think a quick polish will do the trick.

i have a small side business where i make faded hazy headlights clear again.

my first step is to wet sand the light with 1000 grit sandpaper (you dont want to scratch the lense) to get all the dirt/road desbri etc off. it takes about 5 of proper wetsanding. second i use my makita drill with a plastic polishing compound to make the headlights shine again. i do it for cheap as hell. i charge $20 a car, as opposed to sams club who does it for $40 a car and meinke auto ceneter does it for $90!
