ford has a few recalls that i am aware of(in first hand experience), chrysler barely had any, and chevy had a couple, but barely anything to frown on.
Ford, unfrotunately has at least four recalls i perform on a daily basis...tsk tsk...
As far as thoughts on quality goes, its not that gm is building shitty cars, its that toyota has built such strong momentum trucking to the top that it will take alot to stop the ascent. Same with GM's plummet to the bottom, now they are on the way up, but america keep the perception that they are shit.

I really don't care about GM or Toyota honestly. I just hate when I see people abusing numbers. This article reads less like news (ie. stating facts) and more like a persuasive essay.
+1 thanks for typing this so i didnt have to.

Also, since GM is/was the largest auto manufacturer then the same comment of "you sell the most so you'll most likely get the most recalls" should have applied in the past and all of the previous comments regarding domestic quality are null and void?

also the "tire" issue that Ford experienced was a "tire" issue, not a Ford quality issue...

and you call us domestic guys hard headed...

yeah, but in my experience working with chrysler, i would do maybe 2 recalls on those tranny's a month, where at ford i do on average 3 recalls of different types a day...
