i was just wondering if any body ever bump into their stolen rims and called the cops or what happend? i was just wondering can you even get them back by calling the cops or im i going to have to resort to street ways on some thing like this.

 

They stole some $35 hubcaps from me once. I just went to walmart and bought new ones. I try not to resort to violence, thieves will eventually "get theirs".

 

if it would have been hubcaps i would let it go but for rims that cost more than 1200 that is grand theft not only that i worked dam hard for some punk as to just take it like that

 

Did you have wheel locks? That would help a lot more.

 

yeah but that isnt what i m trying to get to i already have new rims is not the point im just trying to know if i see them on a car if i can report them to the police or if i have to confront the owner of the vehicle my self

 

I'd probably say your better off calling the police. If you try to confront them, even the police will tell you that's not the right thing to do. Besides, they are thieves, and probably have a gun in the car with them, something I wouldn't want to deal with. Most I would do is follow the car, while chatting with the cops, and let them handle the dirty work.

You'll have to have proof that those were your rims (reciepts, whatever) and probably have to have a police report from when they were stolen. I had the same problem w/ a system of mine that got stolen,making a long story short, the people who stole it drove by my house while i was out side and yelled something like "i got y0 shit bitch" so my fiance, me and a friend got in a car and chased them, they went into a gated community where there was a cop sitting RIGHT AT THE GATE! so i stopped and told the cop,and she acted like she had better things to do,so i went to the police station the next day and they told me "they'd look into it"...i never got it back, and the cops never did anything about it, but thats volusia county for you i guess...

 

TRUE TRUE GOOD LOOK I GOT PICS AND CLOSE UP OF THE RIMS AND TIRES AND GOT RECIPTS FOR ALL OF IT SO should not be a problem

 

i'd TRY to get the police involved, and if they don't do anything, steal those fuckers back.
