a lot of people can make the car payment and they
often forget they still have insurance to pay..

u pay for your car payment..

Check out certified used Hondas. SRT-4's are so cheap because they depreciate, and you'll be stuck in that for the long haul, so you'd better love the car if you grab one up. Usually Hondas seem to be pretty good about holding thier value as you pay them off, so when you sell it you'll be about even, instead of in the hole.

Insurance is going to murder you on an SRT-4 though, I'm sure. It was horrible for me when I checked.

To be honest thats what I would do.

I am selling my car and getting a paid off truck this year (around $6k). A car payment just isn't really worth it in the long run I don't think.

I financed $13.k and pay $317 per month plus insurance $155 per month. So I can free up that money and put it towards other things that I need or like. I have always had a car payment since I was 18 (25 now) and now I just don't feel it is worth it. Not at this moment. (fwiw yes I have a good paying job so it's not the money).

Which you have to have on financed cars (That's probably common knowledge but I figured I'd say anyway )
