Default dodge stealth w/ 4g63t

Is it possible to put a 46g3t into a 1996 dodge stealth r/t? I knnwo there would have to be mount modifications but would the tranny and enginne even line up or fit? or is it possible to swap the stealth tranny with eclipse one? I only ask cause my friend wanted to know if he could do it, I've never herd of it and was wonderinng if anyone had, or seen one and knnew how to do it

....why....you know there is a TT AWD model of the 3kgt/stealth right? go buy it..much cheaper and traction minded solution.

I know there is a TT version and so does he, but the thing is he doesn't want anything to do with that motor anymore cause it's a piece of Sh** expensive and hard to work on.

then go get a an awd DSM. your not going to see any benefit from putting a 4g63 in that car. its heavy, its fwd, and itll be a waste of your effort.

the point is he wants to keep his stealth, the difference in weight of the 2 cars is something leik 270 lbs, its like haveinng 2 people inn your eclipse
I don't really care on waste of effort, I jsut wanna know if it can be done, and if so how much work is involved

anything can be done. figure out what is different and then you know what needs to be done. can you use stock axles, will they need to be shorter/longer, do you have to fab mounts, will the ecu connections hook up the same? there is alot going to be happening. if he has the time, 15g's, and doesnt mind the work. yea, he can do it.

The idea is stupid, and no one will help you. Because tr is all about being evil to newbs. Now, stop being a douche, and go to a shop and ask them. They will laugh, but hey its better then any of our advice.
