So, Im in charlotte right now...
...and there are absolutely no tuners 
. None. Zee + Row. There arent even any ricers! Its so odd, the roads here are so curved like a woman and so fun to drive. I want to drive my car up here just to show them what theyre missing. (They'll probably all hate me for my exhaust though...stupid dc sport.)

That's definitely bullshit. You just have to know where to look. I definitely saw some ricers while a was there a while back. Maybe dale jr. scared them off.

well, I am on the outskirts, about 20min south of downtown. but still, in south tampa you cant cause a 4 car pile up without involving at least one ricer

Oh ive been on curvy roads. I'm a veteran of Deals Gap, highway 129. But I dont drive that road anymore because of the drifters. Not the import drifters mind you...the peterbuilt and mack drifters. Thats scary shit.

I've been there a few times now and didn't see much like that either. It's mostly NASCAR fans and serious drag racing.

NC actually has ALOT to offer and to be honest charlotte is the best spot to be. Being a NorthCarolinian myself I can tell you where to go for the most part. Winston-Salem and Charlotte between the two DO have dynos and shops. The Nopi tour rolls through there EVERY YEAR and have a turn-out of about 1K plus. Google NC forums and ChapelHill forums (little ways from you). Once you do that you'll find the small yet dedicated group of car peeps. Also,just so you know you might want to make a trip to Piedmont dragway (about 45 minutes outside of HighPoint and about hour and a half from you). The BIG track everyone knows about is Rockingham Dragway and RIGHT across the street is the famous NASCAR circuit Rockingham speedway.
