Default Advice for color of paint job!

Hey guys, so I have a 1995 Thunderbird, I'm adding a new engine in now and I already have 2 duel flow master exhuast and I Dynoed Computer Chip and a cold air intake with a new mass air flow senoir, I also have 24. injectors, next step for the project is paint job. alot of guys like to do the Blackbird look for the T-Bird, but I was thinking something different. anyone got any ideas? I was thinking of leaving the car green because to change color costs to much but need to know about addons for the paint, strips, decals etc... what you think? Here is my car now.

one u alraedy have..for examply..my civic used to be teal color..
and i really like dark silver metal color..so i had it painted dark silver
metalic ..looks really cool..pix in my gallary and i have under hood painted, door jams..the inner hatch too...looks really nice. and how much are
u looking for to get it painted..thats the point..the whole paint job on my civic costs 2200 including body works..fixed all dings and dents and shaved door panels...

Well I was just going to go with a nice shinny gloss paint and was thinking maybe a 2 foot racing strip in the middle of the car, I know this guy at Macco that will fix my dents for free since there so small and he will do a stanard paint job with the strip for $500 but it has to be the same color, then he doesnt have to redo the jams and under the hood etc... I'm kinda limited on money : ( if it comes down to it I could fix the dents myself and just do a whole new paint color but the new color has to be worth it! Just don't know what looks good on a T-Bird other then a racing white or black, green is ok but not really racing style.

Keep it the color it is now. You'll be happier with it, it'll cost less, and it'll look better. Changing a car's color and doing it PROPERLY is a very long, expensive, annoying process. I don't recommend it for something like a 95 T-Bird.

Decals/stickers are gay as shit. Painted on graphics are cool if they're done right and cost yuo a fortune...but that seems like a waste of money unless you have big plans for that car. Stripes....look kinda lame to me and fade away after a while ending up looking like shit, but thats your personal taste.

Isn't that the Steelers colors or something. I don't watch much football. I dunno, if you want to do some effects in the paint be my guest, but good paint effects cost a lot to get done properly. That money could buy you a lot for your car...As far as 'racey' looking...You could spend it on a functional aftermarket fiberglass hood or something if you really wanted nice race looks and you'd make your car faster by shaving off some weight in the process. Hell, I've got a Mustang thats solid white. I say it looks pretty 'racey'..and its fully built with a 70mm turbo on it.

V6? yea I use to have an all white mustang with a black converiable top, it was hot, but just the fact it's a mustang says it all right there. lol even though the t-bird has the same engine as the mustang is I think it's lighter, still doesnt look the same. well I guess I'll just go with green and a simple strip hoply it will look better then now. if anyone has any other idea just let me know, I'll be getting the paint job in 2 weeks : ) need ideas!

No, its a 5.0 v8. Green with a stripe won't look half bad, just might need to get it touched up in a few years. gl with it.
