Default 07' Tacoma OR Frontier???

I'm picking up a new truck. I'm stuck between the Tacoma and Frontier.
What's your opinion or review on one or both of these trucks for the ones' who owns one of them, or both.

This is my review on my test drive:
Tacoma
Good: comfy and has plenty of space in the rear and in the bed. Looks good too. Smooth acceleration.
Bad: Steering isn't all that great, very loose. Same could be said for braking. Suspension is too soft. Feels like it's gonna roll over.

Frontier

Good: Solid feeling, good braking, good steering.
Bad: Cheap looking interior, motor makes more noise when accelerating.

The X-Runner is nice, but it only comes in manual. Difficult to do a X-Runner conversion on a Pre-Runner leaving the auto tranny?
Is there any aftermarket suspension and chassis bracing to make the Tacoma's handling any better? I know its kind of a dumb question to ask.
Im not a truck person, so please fill me in on this.

take the 4-door tacoma for sure. It is deffinately the better looking of the 2 trucks and probably more reliable as well

the tacoma is the best way to go i did the same before buying my 06 tacoma i got the trd sport package and the xsp package this truck has to be one of the best investments i have every made if you go with the tacoma you should stop by tacomaworld.com but i must say the froniter is a good truck but i went with the tacoma mainly for the cab space and the bed space that is what the frontier lacks but g/l with your choice

I'm going to post in this thread, but not my opinion. That pretty much goes without saying

I own a 2006 Tacoma and I think it's the best truck I've owned. V6 has plenty of power and rides smooth. And I like the set up of the engine the oil filter is right on top easy to get too.

Alright. The tacoma wins.

Probably, do a Tundra all around brake conversion and some chassis bracing to make it more enjoyable.
