Because gas/oil will float ontop of water... does nothing unless you put alot of water in, we are talking like a few gallons.
I said suger just because it was a comman comeback... just sounds funner...

water is ftw in a gas tank. same reason you shouldn't keep your car on empty, the gasoline will vaporize - the ethanol and gas will evaporate while the h2o will recondense and stall your car.

Yea, well I guess I'm differnt then most people because I don't run my car on low gas, so if the gas in the tank is more then 3/5th full yes before you refill your gas again and if you put water in it yea will do something mess shit up!

just fyi, water is more dense than petrolium. it will fall to the bottom and be sucked up first.
