Car battery today is 12.6v...2.1v per cell, 6 cells.

Amps...well that depends on the battery. The average sedan should have 640 cold cranking amps.

Most chargers will charge any battery. Slow charging with low amps is probably better. Some people use the higher amps only when they are in a hurry, and with some chargers, in an EMERGENCY, some people use the higher amp setting as a short-term jump starter.

Car batterys are 12 volts, unless you want something special. -Bob

a trickle charge is best for your battery, to recharge it anyway

but like it was said before, you can use that battery charger as a jump starter or a quick fix to get your ass to work and home at most with a really fast charge

but your battery charger will work just fine
