I just hate roll racing, its completly stupid. It takes no skill whatsoever to downshift and go, compared to having to launch. But I can see where anyone would want to roll race if they had a wrong wheel drive car with more power than its own good. Try spending money on maybe some decent wheels/tires, instead of slapping a shitty setup on to look good.

The only races that should be started from a roll is any kind of racing that has turns.

You do the math. But I understand why rolls are so popular...

A) Your car is driving with the wrong wheel(s)
B) You're a whiney little bitch and won't put the proper suspension on your car to make it hook.
To add to the list...

C) You don't understand the concept of throttle modulation.

NO. That is why you do it. If FWD cars hooked as well as RWD cars, then I am sure every FWD would have no issues racing from a dig.

But do they have that traction....NO. Can they get it...to a certain point yes. But who cares. Most FWD import owners are broke and cheap. Spinning is cool....you didn't get the text message or the myspace bulletin? If they are in to racing, the streeeeet y0 is where it is at. There are a select few FWD cars that made good power that have the proper tire/suspension/boost controller setup on them. Most of the FWD cars that are setup for this are only generally making around 300-400whp. The cars that typically make more power than this stick to the track only.

But WTF do I know...I will race from either one and own a Honda.
