boring.... ok sure. i guess hot cars doing hot things is boring now. i couldn't imagine being that over it. do you know how many 240s i see every weekend, i still get excited when i see a nice one. if you are looking for absolute realism, then get behind the wheel with a video camera and post the crappy, dark, weird sounding, street racing, cop chase. give it opening and closing credits and see how many millions you get. you forget that realistic is boring. I don't know anyone that would pay money to sit and watch an hour and a half of realistic street racing. i think the flashy cool sexiness is badass and makes for an entertaining movie. i'm not watching it for the fact based documentary, i'm watching it to be entertained.

I actually paid money just to see the Mopar on Fast n Furious do a wheelie with 78s for rears. I'll have no problem paying to see this.

This movie makes me feel the same vibe that F&F2 and 3 gave me, which aint good.

The SLR Mclaren would be the dog of the bunch, actually. Half a second slower to 60, and a lower trap speed in the 1/4 compared to the GT, as well as longer braking distances, not to mention the GTs better skidpad rating, lower weight, lower CoG, and greater downforce, giving it a superior handling.
