i see where you are coming from, this is not too bad of a thread, i dont see why people are bashing it. people start threads complaining that there isnt anything in GCC to discuss, i think this isnt too bad of a thread.

 

wow i never thought i'de c a thread about this..but since there is i always thought they were called engines and that motor was just refered to as the basic parts such as the block and head and that engine is the complete term such as a complete set up...but theni was like o well who cares and every car company refers to themselves as motor companies such as honda motor company so who the fuck cares what its called it makes a car go thats all that counts...

I always try to avoid saying "motor". Sometimes it slips out, but I usually catch myself.

I've never heard that bit about the starter, though. I should look up the official name for the part in my OEM parts-search program; it usually has the obscure official name for each part.

 

Sir I do believe you make the worst post on TR, I just wish I could go back and change my vote from Cobra390 to you.
