painting rims?

Default painting rims?

How can i do this cheap, i want to paint my rims black w/ a silver lip or jus all black so how can i do that??

getting them powder coated would be the best way. from what my boss told me painting your rims even with high heat paint after a few months they will still fade

yea powdercoat is the way to go and just polish the lip yourself. i think its around $50 a wheel or so but powdercoat is tough as hell!

I wouldn't paint those r/t rims you have... I'd resell them to a neon guy, those are kinda rare especially ones in such great shape

I actually agree with that. Keep it in its OEM goodness, just like i would never paint si rims as the JDM gods will strike me in a crash. But yeah keep them they way they are...remember OEM = Beautiful

I had mine painted, and baked, and clearcoated, no fade here almost a year later..

id take the 17's ifu want the R/T's back, w/ this car im not really looking for speed, more for looks w/ a little get up when i need it.

I'll trade the 17's and stock headlights (or the apc ones you had on the car) for the r/t rims, the headlights on your car and $60
