That's a shitty situation. Neither cycle rider had a proper license to operate, and they both end up fugged by someone making an illegal turn.

Sounds more like a failure to yield? She tried to turn in front of approaching traffic. That should have zero affect on people following. You hit somebody from behind, it's your fault. The only way you are EVER not at fault is if the person you hit was drunk. They take the blame for everything.

I saw a girl pull up to a stop sign, stop, turn right out into the path of a motorcycle. Bike hit car from behind, biker dies. Car driver gets improper turn ticket.

 

Oh my gosh. I'm sorry. I read another article that spelled it out better, and I understand how it happened now. I thought they rearended the truck as the truck was starting to turn. Another article said the truck turned in front of them. I thought this whole time they rearended the truck.

Then I agree that it's total BS that she only gets an improper turn ticket.

 

Fuck pics i want to see a video. how fast do you need to be going to flip a truck with a motorcycle?

 

Not trying to beat a dead horse, but I'm wondering if they were travelling opposite directions, and the truck turned in front of the bikes.....or if the bikes were travelling down 41 and the truck turned in front of them from a side street. RIP and hope the other guy makes it.
