HEY ALL I GOT A QUICK QUESTION. I HAVE A SET OF AXIS MAG LITE RIMS.
ONE OF MY RIMS HAS A POROUS SPOT IN IT WHERE AIR JUST LEAKS OUT. IT IS NOT A CRACK BECAUSE I HAVE CHECKED & HAD A TIRE PLACE CHECK IT OUT. RIMS HAVE NO WELD SPOTS, SO NO POSSIBILITY FOR A WELD TO GO BAD. A FEW PPL HAVE TOLD ME TO TRY EPOXY. BUT THAT WILL THROW MY RIM OFF BALANCE PRETTY BAD. OTHER PPL HAVE SAID LINER SEALER/TIRE BEAD SEALER. BUT I DONT THINK THAT IS STRONG ENOUGH.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER OPTIONS
OR ANY GOOD RIM SHOPS IN THE TAMPA AREA THAT CAN POSSIBLE REPAIR THE RIM ?

wheel repair shops usually won't fixt stuff like this, i'd just say find a good welder and have them do it, i don't know how big the hole is or where, but it shouldn't deform too much, i had a split in the rim of one of my wheels, hadmy friend grind it down and weld it up, it was alittle deformed but i just got a tire thrown on and didn't even balance it and i don't notice any more vibration then before, so just call around for shops that do welding and see if they'll do it
