I have the h22 in my prelude....I might just pull the motor out and trow it in an EG.... I have 2 questions.........

1) What will me 1/4 mile be in the h22 EG w/ I/h/e?

2) How much is a h22 tranny, i only have an auto?


also how much could a get for a decent condition 98 honda prelude shell with the auto tranny? Itll only need a motor to run and its complete full interion ect?

 

I'm not sure what quarter mile run time is but I would think 13's if not low 14's, and a 5 speed tranny can run you about $500 if not more.
-In my opinion if the motor is coming out of the prelude and your thinking of selling I would rather sell the car complete with the motor because you would get alot more out of the car rather then just trying to sell the shell, and with the money you get for your car you can buy yourself another H22 motor (5 speed) and throw it into the EG and have somem extra cash for extra mods, just my opinion but good luck.

 

we have one on sfpoa, he's on here too, blue92ludesi i think is his name, its mario, that thing is damn quick, especially gutted

but yeah, sell the prlelude whole, you won't get much for the shell, buy an H from hmotorsonline.com and i'm sure the price for and engine on there will be more then the price difference of the car with and without the shell, plus instead of pulling one motor and still having to buy a tranny and mating that up, you can get an engine with EVERYTHING you need including an adaptor harness and hasport mounts and axles for it to go in the EG for a much better price i'm sure then you could source the parts for, while guarenteeing the condition of the engine

I have seen a 95 h22 hatch gutted with a 75shot wet kit run in the 12`s but this guy live at the track so he good
