If you haven't inspected the car in person, assume nothing he tells you is true. For someone so cocky I'm sure he has a trick or two up his sleeve. Don't walk into this blind folded man and stop thinking inside the box. Find out first hand whats done to this car with your own eyes before you agree to anything. I would also race for money not your bike, because everyone makes mistakes and that would be a costly one.
