im thinking about re-doing my interior. i personally think it would look better black. so my plans are to pretty much repaint all the plastics to be black, and use carpet paint to get my carpets black. where can i find that stuff, ive never seen it, ive just heard about people using it. do they sell it at like a walmart.

I agree, why do you? Take it to a place that does interiors...there's a carpet place, I think its called Mad Hatter, up on Hillsborough I believe. They do good work, headliner and carpet will be less than your dash. I dunno, go ahead and dye the dash, but for Christ's sake have someone do it for you if you don't know how or its going to look like shit.

yeah painting trim looks crappy unless you sand it down and primer it.

changing intior colors DIY style is a great way to turn out to be the wrong kind of ricer. (the kind that are slow AND look horrible)

You might be better off buying new carpet (normally runs around $150) As for the dye, use only the SEM dye. make sure everything is CLEAN, wipe it down with a little lacquer thinner first, not too much though you'll blister/melt shit

Its inevitable. He's going to one way or another. I give him a couple weeks before he sticks the resistor in his intake temp sensor holes and calls it a 'mod'.

What's wrong with the interior now? From what you have said it's in good shape, so don't fuck it up.
