Default apex-i safc will not work on mazda protege5 or mazda speeds!!

i been looking to get on of these for a while but just found out they won't work on my car!!! it has to do with the fact that the mazdas don't read the maf at open throttel(<-- spelled wrong) thats sucks

so my question is there any other units like the afc out there ? that will work on mazdas? let me know!!

Umm, how does it measure incoming air at WOT then? Perhaps it runs a dual setup- MAF at low airflow and MAP/Speed Density at WOT. Then you'd have to tap into the speed density system to control WOT fuel.
