22psi @ 93 octane? I thought you could only safely run about 18psi with 93...someone clarify this....

what would stop you from running 25/30psi on 93?

I run 24psi everyday, it ain't no thang.

I remember talking to someone tuning my car (who will remain nameless because of my being wrongness ) but he is a well known and respected tuner and he is the person who told me that. "If you want to run more than 18-20psi safely you need to run it with race gas."

it depends a lot on the motor, the turbo, your intercooler, available pump octane, your tune and more. There is no single "coverall" for max boost on pump gas.
