Default Supercharger pulley removal

Alright, I decided on what pulley i'm gonna order, but I have a question.. This site says you should use their special pulley removal tool (which will cost $130 bucks and some change total to RENT, which includes the 100 dollar core charger that's refundable, and $124.00 to buy)
Thrasher Press-On Supercharger Pulleys: 3800 Performance

I was wondering if that tool is 100% neccessary?

If you have a puller that'll fit it, no.

If you want to hit it with a hammer until it comes off, no.

If you don't have a puller that fits and don't want to hit it with a hammer until it comes off, yes.

BTW, your motor makes me want to put a blower on my Buick and race.

Hammer + Wood Blocks behind the pulley + a lot of patience and care = WIN.

Hammer + anything else = FAIL.

You'll need to go to Advance Auto and get a pulley removal tool that will fit on the supercharger pulley. If you don't want to do that, you can order their 'specialized' tool that will likely be completly useless for pulling any other pulleys off.

Eew, a bodykit for a Buick? Thankfully, mines a 99, but that must look horrid! I happen to like my Whitewalls and old man look.

Theres one I picked out of the blue. The generic ones are ~20 bucks. Specialty ones are a bit more. Just have to find one that fits your size pulley and go to work. By the way, I'm assumming you've got a run of the mill press-on pulley like everything else uses. Ya never know with GM, but as long as you do it'll work.
