Im going to steal your thread....Ill take rep points for this one

Last round of qualifying tonight Lance Styck has a massive crash on a solo qualifying pass. Out on the big end Lance gets way out of shape at over 150 MPH crosses across the lanes sideways. His wheelie bars tangle in the guard rail which flips him into a end over in flipping ordeal. The car flips so many times it was uncountable across the guard rail and down the shutdown area. Lance was concious as he was removed from the car. He was taken to Albany Hospital to be checked out after such a massive crash. Word from the hospital so far is he is ok with plenty of bumps bruises and his head bumped pretty hard. The car was torn up so bad it was literly unreconizable as a mustang. Much is to be said for the strict safety we now have in these outlaw 10.5 cars today. The roll cage and safety with out a doubt just saved Lance from being injured very badly. Best wishes to custom performance and the Lance Styck team on a speedy recovery

I have just got off the phone with Lance and he is alright not fine but comfortable. He is at home in Americus now and told me that other than some back pain is doing well.

The crash split his helmet in a place about 5" long so I think that they took him in to make sure there was no cranial or spinal injuries as much as anything.

I was so glad to hear Lance's voice tonight. They had him pretty comfortable but any of us that have a crash especially a bad one at speed knows that he will be very sore tomorrow and a back injury can hurt worse than anything. Lance said he had not seen the car but his crew had informed him that it was completely destroyed.

Lance I know we don't have a lot to offer but just like I told you on the phone, if there is anything at all that we can do for you or your family, please let us know.

The Hancock Family Wishes you a Speedy Recovery and you will be in our prayers.
