no think of it that car is sitting in a climent controlled room some where and will maybe get 500 miles put on it in all of 50 years or so..that car will probley sell for less or more u never know come 50 years..some dude toke a shot at it being an investment or not.

But do you really think the fact that it was the second car off the line is worth paying $550K over sticker?
I don't.
If someone wanted to buy one as an investment, I'd wait a year or so, buy a clean low mileage one for maybe 40K and then hold onto it for 30 years or so. That makes sense.
Not paying 11 times the sticker price.
But obviously this guy wipes his ass with 100s so he can do what he wants with it...
because its signed by shelby and is the first car allowed to the public..with all the doc's and so on..thats why..its not really hard to understand.
its history that controles the value of these cars..some guy is betting that the history from the first version and then it being the first of the seonc version that its going to be worth a shit load in 50 years
