Axle tips...
For my brother's Honda, we took a prybar and a large flathead screwdriver; inserted the flat tips between the tranny and the fat round cylinder of the axle 180 degrees from each other (I was underneath the car, my brother reached in from the engine bay, then we pryed out together. They popped out no problem.

I got a pry bar to do mine.. a pretty big one. Pretty easy to be honest. then to put it back in you just line the threads up and get the pry bar lined up at the end of the axle (towards the inside, there was a groove) that I hit to push it back in
