Default Push Button Start

Ok so myfriend and I are sittign around talkign about push button starters for cars (like the S2000 and Ford GT).

He then tells me he saw an ad for one that just plugs into your Cig. Lighter, no wiring or anything. I tell him that makes no sense and I cant even understand how that would work.

He told me the ad is in the back of any sport compact magazine and they probably dont work.

I have spent all day looking on the internet and cant find one. I dont want it, I am just curious to see how they would even work. Best of my knowledge push button start doenst equal plug and play.

Anyone know what he is talking about?

Thanks,

Mike

What is the big deal? .. it probably uses the cig lighter as a power source and has some sort of remote control device in it.. It really isn't that big of a deal.. Just wire up a longacre starter back or something like that

That's how i started my 240 for a few months.
Take the starter relay line, and a hot line, step in the clutch, and tap the two wires together, and the car starts.
It's not BS. Doesnt take much to make it work. Just hook up a switch inside the DC outlet, since the cig. lighters have a spring to it, it will disconnect once you let it go after the motor starts. easy shit.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.
