Default Any tips on buying and driving home an out of state car?

I guess this pertains more to driving the car home. I'm flying up to good ole Michigan to pick up a car this friday. I have an extra tag off an old car but not sure if i should put that on the car or not for the drive home. Does anyone know what the official verdict is on this? As far as insurance i'm going to call them today and let them know that i'm going to purchase the car friday. Just looking for anyone with experience driving a car home from out of state...thanks.

Get a temp tag, DO NOT USE A TAG OF ANOTHER CAR THAT IS A FELONY

If the car is already tagged I would ask to borrow that Tag and then mail it back.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.
