Default Go peds

Does anybody on here mess around with their go peds? I got one and trying to figure it out... For some reason it doesn't start... I took the carb out and cleaned it with brake cleaner and try to start it but didn't work.. I also put a new spark plut in... That is about all I tried...

Although one note, when I took the carb intake There was dirt EVERYWHERE... I took it apart and cleaned it..

It just doesn't start... Doesn't even attempt to start...

Im sure its just like a weed eater engine. Make sure the combustion chamber is dry. Also if it doesnt start you might be flooding it. lean it out...see what happens.

I had so many gopeds.

I had a kawasaki green sport. with an engine swap (lol) it had a g230rc and i smoked everyone in westchase's ass.

then i got into freestyling them and i got a super x-ped.

lol those were the days. you could swap your engine with like 4 bolts. everything was so easy back then I want to get another one just so i can take it apart and put it back together like i used to

S, you push start them. no clutct or anything like that. when you stop, unless you had a liquimatic, you have to lift the back tire off the ground, unless you were good like me, you could do a standing burnout. lmao

I still have one sitting in my garage, still fun to ride every once in a while.

First try new gas mixed with new oil. Make sure there are no big intake leaks behind the carb. If you can't crank it by hand try push starting it, sometimes if you keep the engine cranking it will catch. If nothing else works try a little starter fluid, not much because it's a small engine. If that doesn't work you probably have to completely disassemble the carb and clean it all out with carb cleaner, squirting cleaner through all the passages and jets from every angle until they're flushed clean. I had to do that after leaving mine sitting for 2 years with a blown engine. Make sure it has compression, make sure the magneto is working and you're getting spark, make sure the carb is properly delivering fuel, and there's really nothing that can keep it from running after that.

What kind of compression should I be getting? I got 55psi...

compression should be about 13:1 maybe... depending on what power your putting out.

i used to be big into the whole pocket bike scene, and invested hundreds of dollars into mine before i sold it. damn things a lot of fun.
