"infrared glass" blocks radar/laser from radar detectors
Make a note:
If you know someone with a Mercedes GL SUV, with the optional 3-zone climate control, the infrared glass has a metallic film that reduces solar heat to the interior and also blocks radar and Laser signals to your radar detector.
This relates to your car, in the sense that if *you* have
"infrared glass" on your car, the same may happen to you......-Bob

i don't think you want your radar detector rendered useless because of your window tint.
