I'm no high hp drag car, but yeah 99% of auto imports (excluding th350, th400, powerglide swapped supras and such) are pretty weak

My Protege5 Is Auto But It Got The Auto Stick Its A Little Diff Becuase You Can Run Though The Gears But I Drive A Truck For Work Thats A 5 Speed And I Hate It In Traffic , So When I Get In My Car After A Hole Day Of Shifting That Thing It Feels Good To Just Drive And Cruse Without Shifting A Gear Or Pumping The Cluch

for a daily driver, stay auto. last thing i wanna do after a long day of work is to get in my car and roam through gears and get a sore foot from slipping the clutch in stop and go traffic.
there is no downfall to an auto...your not going to be throwing 300hp through it, just dont repeatedly beat on it, dont neutral drop it, dont throw it in park from 20mph, and make sure the fluid is clean every 5k or so.
and for anyone here trying to run this "auto's suck for racing" bullshit...all i can say is you have a whole hell of a lot to learn. give me a hi-po built awd stalled auto 4g63 any day.
