Just seein if there is anybody local that would tape off my car for paint... and how much they will charge. I can do the prep work. just need some tape help!... lol lmk peoples!

well Im prolly gonna end up tapin it myself.. But im just scared of effen it up. maybe someone can kinda guide me .. I mean should i be usin newspaper and some 3M or is there paper with tape on it already??

 

I'm no pro, but i have painted my car before. Never use newspaper, its too thin. HomeDepot carries those brown paper rolls near the paint cans, use those. And I guess use painter's tape. It won't stick like the cheap masking tapes.

the brown paper works great...its kinda like butcher paper. make sure you use the green masking tape, it doesn't leave as much residue. you going single color, two-tone, graphics ? hit me up with a PM and we can figure something out
