Why cause some people don't get the point in why they do it? Please refer to the First sentence in this thread, thank you and have a nice day.

Some people don't get the point of taking a Ford Focus and putting money into it? That really startles me.

Watch WRC at all? At least I can say that the money I put into it served a purpose. Next question......

Oh quick question for ya. Since I have owned quite a few trucks in my life time(fyi I'm not a 17 y/o kid) that have been lifted, how do they get passed the states minimum bumper height?

Oh and yet again you can't put together a answer.

its all physics sir. if you do the math, obviously a 24" rim wont fit on a stock ride height CAR. so to fix this problem alot of time and money (believe it or not) goes into the raising of these cars. it takes fabrication and i saw in the other thread about u joints and such being ruined? these guys spend upwards of 15k for rims... you think they are gonna slack off on the shit thats important like extended driveshafts? i dont know what misconception you have about these cars but MOST not all of them are done right. i hope this better explains the question you presented earlier.

Actually I do know that anwser. Either they add steel bumpers (like the Duval Roadmaster sitting 56", or they register the car as a truck. FLA laws are not that strict on this though.

And like he said, the lifts are highly fabricated. My boy from St. Pete that had his Donk lifted (in the other thread there is a picture) hides his lift at shows, he covers it up with a blanket. Lifting cars is a techinque and skill that not many people know how to do. That's why people send their cars to FLA to get their shyt done right.

Care to ride around Tampa, St Pete, Clearwater or anywhere in the close radious and show me theses cars that are done up right? 90% of them 1/2 ass jack them up and slap on a set of rims. I don't get the point.

As for the 727kids comments about them smoking it up, take any one of those and a stock height car of the same modle, same engine work and tell me which one will smoke who?

Plus how well does that handle? I totally get a kick out of the guys when they have to take a corner at 15mph cause their suspension is so done right.
