Since it's already been clarified, I'll add a funny story. My fiance went to buy a new Corvette several years ago. He drove straight from work (he places underground utilities - read-DIRT) in a flatbed pickup. The salesman basically blew him off. Donald said, "Well, let me just fill out a credit ap" and did so and left. The guy was calling back 5 minutes later apologizing and telling him he could have anything on the lot.

Oh, and I've seen some REALLY nasty, dirty, sloppy looking people whip out wads of 100s at swap meets.

Never judge a book by its cover.

FWIW, he and his dad pulled up in my Lincoln truck.

Well, don't tell the guys, but I prefer the body style of the Viper.

There's a black one sitting at Jerry Ulm (there was a couple weeks ago, anyway), but there's no comparing worksmanship.

Unbelievable that this thread made it to page two without the standard...

Donald I looked at it - that's how I knew it was there and could say it doesn't compare to the GT's worksmanship. I will say that the sale's manager was willing to make a good deal.

The GT was what we wanted. We actually looked at the Viper because his dad was backpedalling and Donald didn't want to spend that kind of money by himself. We're in savings mode. This car is our only debt now.
